A Thousand Thoughts

And just like that a thousand thoughts
All gone
Forever lost in the void
Struggling to find their way
In the domain of death,
forever confined
'Sudden pressure on windpipe, resulting in choking', the reports said
A lifeless living being
Came across a horrible end
What does she leave behind?
A family to mourn
And a thousand thoughts in her mind
Did she hear these voices too?
These sounds of hatred and horror
I would never know now
All I have now, are assumptions
Assumptions of what she carried in her mind
A thousand thoughts, probably just like mine.
I wish to meet her someday
Talk about, not her problems,
but the moments of happiness that we might've spent together
And in that conversation of ours
I hope she tells me about her thousand thoughts
I hope I can tell her about mine.
