There is a theory That when you die your whole life flashes right before your eyes I don't really understand how something so long can be flashed in mere seconds But it's not the life you think you lived In your final moments what you see are people The people who cared It doesn't matter if you've ever met them or not I don't know if it was the last time I saw her But it was someone I felt connected to I've never met her I've never seen her But tell me to describe the face, and I can write poetry on it She was not like everyone else And when I was there lying on the ground Her eyes were stuck on me Not in a sympathetic or romantic way Neutral Just lying there, looking at me And at that moment I felt a strange connection A connection that you feel with the people you love And those silver locks of hair Like she was blessed by the thunder god himself That lock went from the forehead to the tip of her open hair Thick in the beginning and almost negligible in the end That silver lock was enough to make anyone fall in love with her That one silver lock was enough to know that she's the one I don't know if she exists But I would really like to meet her someday Run my fingers through that silver hair Hold that face as close to me as I can And as much as I try, I don't think I'll be able to forget her As if those silver locks were not enough, the glasses she wore were absolutely perfect for her face It was as if those were made just for her A perfect fit! Covering those beautiful eyes just enough for a person close enough to notice them She was not sympathetic, She was not rude She was herself I would dream again, in hopes that someday she might come here again I always wondered what life would look like in those last moments Now I know, For if death comes tomorrow, my life had already flashed through my eyes in a dream!
