Worthy

Only the one who is worthy can lift Mjolnir, the legendary hammer of Thor

Or so Marvel says in the comics

I don’t know if I’m worthy enough to even move it an inch

But I’m cognizant that you’re no less than Mjolnir

And one has to be worthy enough to have you

I don’t know if I’m worthy enough to be that person

And If I am honest with myself, I don’t want to know

There are some things I would rather be unaware of

The grief of not being the one for you is far more painful than

The joy of knowing that I’m the one

I just want to stay

By your side for as long as I can

Walk with you till I can’t walk anymore

I don’t know if this is even slightly possible

Knowing for a fact that we can’t be together

I would happily challenge the sisters of fate

If it means I have as little as a 0.01% chance of being with you

I would travel to the realm of Hades and back

Even death wouldn’t able to take me away from you

I don’t know if I’m the right person to do so though

What I have with me is hope

Hope that someday, you’ll sit next to me,

Hold my hand,

And walk with me towards infinity.
